You’d think it would take at least a 2 hour drive from the city to a mountain scenery but guess how long it takes to get to Saddleback from the city? Only 45 minutes! And that’s with the tight speed limit in Davao

I was so excited as we entered the gates of Saddeback. If you’re wondering, it actually isn’t hard to get here unlike other resorts. The route treads on a fully cemented road in Baracatan, Davao.

Fresh air and lush greenery

One of the highlights of Saddleback is the mountain view and beautiful trees surrounding the whole property. The wide and spacious area makes it perfect for special occasions such as weddings and pre-nup shoots, parties, trainings and team-buildings.

I am initially traumatized from riding horses but this gorgeous horse made me change my mind. In Saddleback, guests can enjoy different activities such as horseback riding. I enjoyed the trail and had a guide with me all throughout.

Grilled tuna panga (my favorite!)

A must-try dish in Davao – grilled tuna panga!!! A low calorie dish (cos it’s GRILLED and it’s fish!) that’s super juicy and best served with toyo and sili.
