Ed Hardy officially breaks ground in the PH When you say “Ed Hardy”, it immediately rings a bell for a global brand that is edgy and one who stands out. Last October 14, Ed Hardy turned heads as they made their very FIRST public appearance during Zalora’s Fashion Night Out held in the BGC Amphitheater. As the models strut down the catwalk in their Ed Hardy-ensembles, you immediately see that it’s all about self-expression. Check out their newest pieces!

Singapore: An Enchanting Island City Have you ever been to a place that your experience was not so good so you had zero plans of going back? Honestly, that is how I felt during my first trip to Singapore. I went for a college field trip to “analyze and create a retail plan” by observing different malls and I don’t remember it being very memorable aside from dreading to draft a good school paper when I got back. Now, visiting the second time around makes me think otherwise. Here are my favorite, MUST-VISIT locations in Singapore. Enjoy! 🙂

You walk in an event then you think, “OMG – I am wearing the exact dress as her, from Forever 21!” What’s a sure fire way to save you from that fashion blunder? Simple – accessorize. May it be with a skinny scarf or a cute necklace, accessorizing is a way to make any outfit your own.

Sometimes, I get drawn to bright or pastel colors but at the end of the day, I always find myself drawn back to my first love: Neutrals. Here’s to kickin’ it with the khaki!

Daily uniform It might have been that Britney Spears video circa the 90’s which made school uniforms look so cool – I’m one of the girls who never moved on.

Packing for international trips can be tricky. You have limited luggage space so you have 2 thoughts: 1. I need to pack all my clothes – how to make it fit? and 2. I need to make space for *unexpected* shopping sprees. The answer: Invest in one good coat!

We all want one: a pair of rugged, ripped ala-boyfriend jeans that has a comfortable fit. Let me show you how to achieve that vintage-y worn out look with a NEW pair of jeans: a tutorial from materials to the (very quick!) process. Rip away!

in Balesin I cant believe it’s almost March – the cold Berrr months are coming to an end (can you feel it?) so it’s time to embrace the sun! The Island Life On the last day of our Balesin trip, I made sure to slip into something comfy and city-appropriate. Slacks on the beach? Why not! Jaspal top from Adora | Abby Jocson white tote SM Accessories brown floppy hat | Vintage silver cuff Forever 21 Grid cuff Silver & Gold This top is so beautiful but one thing I learned – sequins kind of trap heat inside so it got REALLY warm after a while. Haha! At Balesin Island Club Yuki Tansengco See you soon, Balesin! My Style Cat Hope you all have a blessed Sunday and thanks for dropping by!!! 🙂 (Photos by Alaysa Bisnar)

in my holiday uniform In a country wherein we have only 2 seasons, I get pretty jealous when the fall/winter collections come in after July. My favorite brands stock up all the layering pieces you can think of: scarves, coats, hats and wool socks but unfortunately, no cool weather here to wear it – unless it’s the holidays! Layering in Manila I have learned a little cheat sheet when it comes to layering in Manila. Let me know if you agree with me! Mango plaid dress | Zara boots | Forever 21 thigh highs I’ve always wanted to own thigh-high booties but that would obviously be too warm for our climate. Instead, I re-created that look and wore thigh-high cotton socks instead. Avoid material such as wool cos that’ll be too warm! Veloci Voyager Watch The synthetic material of the dress isn’t as warm as it looks. Plus, the length gives a lot of ventilation. Haha! To keep it simple, I paired this look with a Veloci classic Voyager watch. Check out Veloci on Facebook! Mango red purse Since the majority of the outfit is in blue/black, I paired a bright red purse from Mango for a pop of color.…

Normcore I’ve been seeing the word “normcore” a lot lately and I learned that it’s a hybrid between “normal” and “hardcore” aka a lazy dressing. Haha! I guess I know have a word when asked to define my style? Sort of. Yuki Tansengco I’ve always been a lazy dresser but I still make it a point to look put-together and neat – it’s a tough balance! When it comes to events, heels will always be my last resort since I find (most of) them uncomfortable. Thrift shopper at heart I found these vintage coordinates in a garage sale pile. I like wandering around thinking: who owned these before? That’s the interesting (and slightly scary) part of 2nd hand shopping – your piece always has a story. Forever 21 gold cuff I have two theories: the lady who used to own this must’ve 1. worked in corporate under sales (possibly a fun brand) or 2. she could’ve been a teacher or guidance councilor. I figured the length is too short for conservative schools. Haha! Topshop black doctor bag To downplay the corporate vibe of the coordinates, I paired it with my favorite mandals and black bag. There is really nothing comfier…
