The Golden Secret To A Fab Blow Out

by yukihigson

Aside from my fashion choices, there is also one part of me that is always changing – my hair! I love trying new things such as a new cut, hair treatments and different hair colors. Life is too short to have boring hair, right? Let me show you how I quickly style my hair – damage-free!

I usually frequent Blo Blow Dry Bar for my hairstyling needs but sometimes, you’ve just got to Do It Yourself. Between doing make-up and hair, I find the latter more difficult but thanks to these easy breezy styling tools, it’s now easy to achieve that ala-salon like blow out!

W Elite Gold Tools | Watsons Heat Active Hair Serum | Paddle & Round Brush | My Amazing Blow Dry Secret

First, you need the right tools. I love the W Elite Gold hot tools when fixing my hair. After stepping out of the shower, I apply Watsons Heat Active Serum on my towel dry hair. This preps my hair to avoid damage from the heat and it actually uses an advanced technology from Japan, repairing your hair as you style. The Nano Repair component of the serum protects your hair from heat – not only from the tools but also from the weather. You can also apply the serum during mid-day on dry hair for an intense hair shine.

W Elite Gold Nano Ceramic Hair Dryer

After applying the serum, I spritz on My Amazing Blow Dry Shake N Spray in small sections of my hair. It cuts my blow dry time in half so I don’t take long when I rough dry. The W Elite Gold Nano Dryer is packed with a concentrator nozzle, 3 heat and 2 speed settings for a user-friendly experience.

Use a Round Brush

It depends on your hair length but for someone who has mid-length hair, I use a medium sized round brush when I blowdry. The longer and thicker your hair is, the bigger the round brush should be. Using the W Elite dryer, I blowdry my hair inwards for that added volume and style. It’s my best effort! Hehe

Ta-daaa – here is the final look. My mid-length hair has a natural shine and smooth finish every time I use this dryer. When blow drying your hair, style the bangs last.

W Elite Gold Series Nano Ceramic Hair Dryer and Curl N’ Straight Nano Tourmaline Ceramic Styler

I’ve always been afraid to curl my own hair. I have this fear of accidentally burning my hair but thank God for this ceramic styler from W Elite – it features an LCD temperature display so you know when it’s good to go. It also has tourmaline ceramic coated plates which heats up in as fast as 60 seconds – no more downtime.

2-in-1: Curler & Straightener

My favorite part about this one specifically – it can straighten AND curl up your hair! This is perfect to bring around trips so you only need to bring one tool (hotels usually have hair dryers ready!). It’s my first time to use a curler and straightener in one and I must say, it’s pretty convenient.

I find fixing my hair so hard that most of the time, I would just have my locks blow dried in a salon. Blame it on my short arms maybe, hah. I just cant reach the back portion of my hair! (T_T)
My biggest hair problem? That it’s dry and frizzy. Good thing treatments are more affordable now so there’s still hope for me. (^-^)
