Officially a “nails person” (lol!)
To be honest, I’m the type who isn’t really particular how often to have my nails done or even what nail polish brand to use. Most recently, I decided to give the popular “Gel Nails” a try and I was amazed with the results!

Gel manicure
With it’s clean and spacious surroundings, you’ll surely feel at home Gionyx. They have sooo many colors you can choose from and a classic manicure only costs Php200! The gel one costs Php850 and here’s why I love it:
1. No pain cleaning
I’ve experienced a lot of nail salons before and some feel like murder. At Gionyx, the nail technicians undergo intensive training and I didn’t feel a single pinch of pain. The Php850 already includes the cleaning unlike other salons who charge extra.
2. Lots of gel colors to choose from
Gel polish is limited in other salons. In Gionyx, you’ll have a hard time picking! They even suggest what combinations are nice and the wheel is true to nail. What you see is what you get! 🙂
3. Glossier finish and odor-free
Weirdly, some manicures tend to have this strong nail polish scent. While having my nails done, I noticed that gel nail polish doesn’t have this smell. It holds shine and the color doesn’t fade! 🙂
4. Fast drying
These cool nails come with amazing technology. Haha! It is hardened by curing under an ultraviolet or L.E.D. I love how my nails dry immediately upon completion of the service so no worry about smudging or ruining my manicure. (Note: Wear sunglasses!)
5. Scratch/chip-free
Lastly, my favorite part. I am AMAZED how tough and chip-free a gel manicure can last. I do so many things, including excessive e-mail writing and the polish stays intact. I’m on my 2nd week now and my nails still look as good as new! Still with high shine and no cracking, peeling or chipping.
