ARTDECO Paint Party
When I first heard from the NuffNang team that we’ll be doing a Paint Party for ARTDECO and Beauty Bar, I was immediately excited. I picture myself ala Allie and her painting skills in The Notebook! A girl can dream 😀

Til I realized that it was much more than a simple paint party. It was a venue for self-expression, exposing ourselves to vivid colors, quite mysterious – exactly what ARTDECO’s Jungle Fever collection is all about! You’ll see 😉

Self expression – blend blend blend!
A lot of us weren’t really “artists” but this event was so much fun! There was no pressure at all in our artworks and it just felt like high school art class. Just like in make-up, the key is to blend well! Blend REALLY well!Â
Fierce cat!
We were tasked to paint a lion and I’m not really sure if I achieved it. Haha! We used super vivid colors and it was so easy to apply. Here i learned that metallics play a crucial part. It makes the painting pop out more – similiar to our make-up highlighter products!
Step by step Paint Party
I loved how we were able to just go crazy with our artworks. We had fun colors to use and my favorite part was CONTOURING. It really makes a difference when you contour cos it adds depth to the painting. That’s why I’m so excited to try the ARTDECO Bronzing power compact!
The final artwork
Ta-daaa! Here is the final painting of my “lion.” What do you think? I was generous with the “highlighter” on the eyes, nose, mouth and temples. Just like the acrylic paint that we used, ARTDECO’s latest products have a smooth application and soothes it as well cos it has Vitamin E!

Jungle Fever make-over
After the paint party, we had the opportunity to try ARTDECO’s Jungle Fever collection! I wanted a simple, fresh look so we used Art Couture Lipstick in pearl blazing red, Bronzing Glow Blusher and Bronzing Power Compact. We also used the Art Couture Eyeshadow in an earthy brown, hints of green, and pearl. Can you believe we did this look in less than 10 minutes? Yup, that’s how highly pigmented the products are!
