An Afternoon of Outdoor Fun
Last Saturday, I stepped out of my comfort zone for an afternoon of outdoor fun in Mercato BGC at San Marino’s What’s New What’s Next Fair! It was scary yet thrilling at the same time. I once read a quote before – “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” and I totally agree.

I do not own any athletic gear so imagine my panic when we were asked to dress in something like that. I once read somewhere that even if you don’t know what to do yet – always dress the part! So here’s my “work-out” look, what do you think? Haha! My Praiaz shoes were beyond comfortable!

Thanks to this Goody headband, I managed to keep my hair out of my face which made me more efficient while doing the activities. Speaking of, how awesome is it that the tuna flakes can now come with an easy-open tab? No more complicated can openers!

Rich in protein with natural Omega-3, San Marino Tuna flakes make a great meal for everyone. You can prepare it easy-peasy as a sandwich or even make empanadas for merienda. I have yet to try that!

Wall Climbing & Rappelling
The San Marino What’s New What’s Next Fair was open to everyone looking for a good time. I surprisingly discovered an athletic bone in my body when I reached the top of the wall climb and successfully rappelled downwards. It’s not as hard as it looks!
Horizontal Bungee Run
This came off as a challenge but very rewarding. Your goal is to hit the San Marino badge but at the same time, there is a force pulling you backwards. The struggle is real, in this one. Haha!
Velcrow wall
I’ve always wanted to try this! Equipped in sticky velcrow suits, Rhea and I had to jump and reach for the San Marino Tuna Flakes badge. Height was definitely an advantage in this one!
Flying Trapeze
My favorite part of the day – to fly! I was able to fly like a bird with the Flying Trapeze team. It was such an amazing experience that I suggest you try it at least once in your life. The feeling is incomparable once you jump off and just set free!
Jeric Teng, Yuki Tansengco and Mika Reyes
It was indeed a fun-filled afternoon! Although Mika refused to try the Flying Trapeze, Jeric Teng conquered his fear of heights and tried it out. So proud of you, Jeric! Mika – you will try next time, okay? Haha!
Kagulooo with Mika Reyes
Like a good sport, Mika opted to try one of the activities anyway so we did the horizontal bungee run. As expected, Mika successful hit the San Marino badge at every run. Haha!

I’m so glad I was able to do a lot of “firsts” today at the San Marino Whats New, Whats Next Fair! I am already thinking of what to do next! 😀 Thank you and congrats San Marino for the successful event!
