It’s almost 3AM as I type this entry but I’m wide awake. I’m the type of person who prefers working at night compared to daylight. I feel like my brain cells are more active in the evening but because of this, I get groggy in the morning when I don’t get enough sleep. What to do?
Creamiest Ever
I, personally, don’t like drinking coffee that tastes too strong so I’m glad I have Nestle COFFEE-MATE to make my drink on the creamier side!
Syllabus and materials for Barista U
I was so excited when I “enrolled’ in Barista University! I’m clueless when it comes to preparing coffee drinks and after this quickie crash course, I learned that there is SO MUCH you can do with your COFFEE-MATE. The best part? It’s easy to create! No fancy shmancy machines needed.
Non-dairy powdered creamer
COFFEE-MATE® was the first to transform an ordinary cup of coffee into a creamy treat and remains the leading innovator in the non-dairy creamer category. In 1961, COFFEE-MATE was introduced as the world’s first non-dairy powdered creamer. The objective was to look for a nondairy based formula that would deliver better coffee creaming than milk – and I love it!
Creamy Caramel Macchiato
I was under the wing of professor Shiela! Our first task was to create a yummy looking Caramel Macchiato that has to look artsy with the top accent. Ta-daaa! This is my creation. I was under time pressure but I learned how easy it is to foam simply by mixing 2 tsps of COFFEE-MATE and hot water.
Creamy Cookies & Cream Iced Coffee
Now, lesson number 2! This one included an oral examination and a presentation. Haha! Barista University students were tasked to make a yummy-looking Creamy Cookies and Cream Iced Coffee. With mentor Shiela Perez, Nikita and I created this drink dubbed as “Let It Snow.” This cold blended drink will bring nothing but cool happy memories!
With Jill Bantang of The Food Scout
Those are just a few recipes you can do with your favorite creamer. I love how COFFEE-MATE brings us variety and how simple it is to do in our home. They were even generous to send us each a coffee gift set! Nescafe and COFFEE-MATE combine harmoniously and bring out the best in each other – creating the creamiest ever.
CO/OP, A. Mabini Street San Juan
To cap off the day, we indulged in this refreshing meal by CO/OP in San Juan. I love how they serve their iced teas in mason jars. Very Instagram-worthy. Haha!
Random knick-knacks
It’s my first time to go to CO/OP and I’ll surely be back. The location is sort of hard to find but you’ll definitely KNOW it’s CO/OP when you see it. It’s a diversified spot housing furniture hipster knick-knacks, and a cafe.
