Have you ever met someone who says they usually never get pimples? Yep, that was NEVER my case. Growing up, as shallow as it may sound, but I will always remember how horrible my acne was. As in BIG. RED. CYSTIC. ACNE. Everywhere – from my forehead to my cheeks. Ever since, I’ve been sooo careful what I put on my face – especially during my pregnancy. I hope this article helps those who are going through a similar situation!

in Singapore I’ve been doing a lot of trips lately (Style Cat bags is now in Singapore!) but I really noticed it has taken a toll on my skin. My face felt dull and dry – which I think is a result from getting on too many airplanes. Lol! So I went for a much-needed facial and pampering at Rapellez in Singapore.

Nightly Ritual: My Skin Care Routine I have this terrible habit of staying up late – which I used to think was the reason for my bad skin. I tried everything to improve it but nothing seemed to work. While it’s (fairly) common knowledge that going to bed without washing your face is unacceptable, I never really knew what a proper “Night Skincare Routine” was. Basically, it’s tailored to your own situation. New skin cells grow faster while you sleep, so a good evening facial routine should be a high priority. At night, the goal is to repair damage from the day’s pollution, sun and stress, as well as to hydrate since you lose more water from your skin. Read on my tips!

Sun protection on a cloudy day: Ya or nah? Although it’s not as much as we expected, it’s been moderately rainy in Manila. I find myself scavenging for light knits and sweaters to cover up but here’s the question – do we still need to lather up on the sun protection?

Living in a tropical country, I always find myself combing for pieces in my closet that I can easily move in. I look for the loose tops, breezy Sunday dresses and anything that is sleeveless. Unfortunately, not everything goes as planned. Even on the hottest days, I sometimes get dyahe to wear sleeveless. I also feel like I sweat more than other people so I get super conscious when I’m about to do an extraneous task or whole day errands.
