Sweater Weather
“All I hear is raindrops, running on the rooftop…” – who can guess this 90’s song? Haha! It’s rainy season again so it’s time to bid goodbye all open-toe footwear and skin-showing pieces.
Geeky specs
I call this my “pa-safe” outfit. Why, you might ask? It’s safe enough to wear if it’s raining and still okay to wear if it’s sunny cos of the comfy skirt – of course, bennies to match!

So here are some quick tips to stay dry during the sweater weather!
Zara black skirt | Bensimon Colorsole Femme
First, wear something that is easy to move around in. You’ll never know WHEN it’ll actually start pouring – heck, you might even be commuting somewhere and no shade visible. So I’m ready to run for cover in these sneakers incase it starts pouring!
Thrifted white knitted sweater
Second, stay warm but not too warm. We all know weather in the city is so bipolar! One minute it can be rainy then suddenly – Mr Sun comes out! Loosely knit sweaters like this are just right.
Bensimon Colorsole Femme in Raspberry
Then third, avoid illnesses by keeping your feet dry with closed-toe footwear. I don’t really want to wear my white bennies on potential rainy days so this Raspberry one is just right! For exclusive updates, Like Bensimon Philippines on Facebook and follow them on Instagram via @bensimonph!
CNA frames | Ferragamo shoulder bag
Then lastly, keep it hassle-free. Avoid big carry-alls cos it gets chaotic when rain starts to pour – especially when commuting. Stick to a small bag that’s easy to guard and away from cloth bags!
CNA Fairview Terraces
The geeky specs are just an add-on. Haha! Picked it up during a recent trip in Fairvew Terraces. Congrats CNY on your newest branch in Sta Lucia East Grand Mall! To see their products, Like CNA Philippines on Facebook.
