in Mega Fashion Hall
I remember seeing a tweet the night of the VIP launch saying, “H&M all over my feed.” Everyone knows it has arrived and we are all excited about it. I was lucky to be one of the first customers to visit and shop so here are 5 quick tips to make your H&M shopping experience a great one!
HM says Hello, Manila!
Tip number one: Don’t get overwhelmed.
Upon entering the store, you’ll be greeted by racks filled with lots of choices and fabulously styled mannequins. Don’t panic! Relax – you will have enough time to scan each of the 3 floors. Yes, THREE! 🙂

To tell you the truth, I got overwhelmed too during the launch. I kept hoping from one area to another, excited to go up the other floors so I didn’t really get to scan properly. Oh well – a perfect reason to come back! 🙂
Very affordable hats and scarves
Tip number two: Don’t assume the pieces expensive!
Some people make the mistake of NOT picking up an item just because they think it looks expensive. See those scarves? I wanted a cheetah print one but I thought it was mahal – I got surprise it was only Php499! I’m so happy I bought it! 🙂
With Milka Romero
What you’ll LOVE about the store is that every piece is priced so reasonably. The blazers range from Php1200-1600, there are tops and dresses below Php1000 and even simple tops priced between Php200-400.Â
Booty call
Tip number 3: Try before you buy!
Save yourself the hassle of doing store returns/exchanges by simply trying it on first. Some people make the mistake of thinking, “I know my size already.” While that will save you time, you also have to factor in that the fit depends on the cut and style of the item, too.Â
with Lola Androgynous
Glad I bumped into Lola A who’s always looking fabulous! Her white mesh top is from H&M too and she was sharing how affordable she got it. The styles are for all ages! 😉
More branches to come!
Are you ready for the #HMPHILIPPINES invasion?! Keep your eye out opening cos H&M are opening branches very soon! Keep those savings secured! 🙂
Overlooking the first floor
Tip number 4: Avoid the rush hour.
I know it might be tempting to drop by H&M after work hours but I suggest you avoid the rush hour traffic when you go! You’ll want a lot of time when you go to the store and the last thing you want is to get stuck in traffic going there – but it’s worth the wait nonetheless 😉
3 floors of H&M heaven
Tip number 5: Find style staples in the menswear sections
And lastly, don’t hesitate to explore the 3rd level! It’s all menswear but TRUST ME, you will find pieces that you can wear cos everything is just so damn nice. Check out this simple denim vest! You can rock this with a white tank top, leggings and Dr Martens. 😉
