For my birthday, I was researching on a getaway near Metro Manila that was baby-friendly. One of the searches recommend this family-run farm called “Hulo Leisure Farm” so I decided to take my family to a weekend getaway. Located in Bataan, I loved how it was just a 2-hr drive away from Makati – a smooth drive too! I hope you find this blog post helpful and pls share with me your fave weekend getaways near the Metro.

How to get there (from Makati) via private car:
Hulo Leisure Farm is located in Abucay Bataan. To drive to the destination, we took the newly built Skyway Stage 3 from Buendia and exited straight onto NLEX Balintawak. It made the entire trip around 2 hours!

4 Days & 3 Nights
Highlights:
Just simply being surrounded by nature and waking up to the sound of the birds that made our stay so lovely. Luca enjoyed playing by the pool, being under the trees and observing the environment. It was the perfect place to disconnect and relax!
Insider Tip:
Since its a farm and you’re surrounded by nature – dont forget to bring mosquito repellant!
Kubo ni Basyong
For the accomodation, I booked Casa de Primavera for my hubby and baby then I booked Kubo ni Basyong for our nanny. The rates were inclusive of breakfast (you can choose!) and the service was very good!
