It’s now here in Manila! The new My Burberry fragrance launched globally with a campaign featuring British global fashion icons Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne, shot together for the first time. The fragrance – My Burberry – takes its name from the affectionate way in which people refer to their Burberry trench coat.

The Bottle
I love the design! The glass bottle and overall design reflect the details of the Burberry trench coat: a bold horn-finish cap echoes its distinctive buttons and the hand-tied knot is English-woven gabardine, honouring the fabric invented by Thomas Burberry over 100 years ago. The gold lined interior is embossed with the iconic Burberry check design.

For the first time in history, 2 big supermodels are shot together in 1 campaign. The My Burberry campaign features Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne, shot by photographer Mario Testino, under the creative direction of Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer, Christopher Bailey. Wearing the Sandringham trench coat, Kate and Cara embody a sense of individuality, optimism and legacy as encapsulated in My Burberry.

I truly enjoyed the My Burberry animation in SM Aura! It honestly smells so delicate yet strong like an empowered woman. My Burberry is a grand floral fragrance with an unexpected edge; the scent is confident and beautifully elegant, yet understated in a typically British way.

The scent is available in 3 sizes. For a limited time in October, SM Aura Department Store let their clients customize their own 90ml bottle of My Burberry with their initials. Such a great gift idea or have it for yourself.

In the animation, there was an iPad containing the story behind the creation of My Burberry. You could also input your initials to see a mock-up of your 90ml bottle.
Personalize it
For a limited time, Burberry brought in a special engraving machine for the delicate bottle to let us personalize our My Burberry. As one of the ladies who received a bottle, I was so excited and had my initials put in “YMT”.

I personally love the scent of My Burberry. It has a delicate floral scent – top notes of sweet pea and bergamot fuse with a heart of geranium, golden quince and freesia, rounded out with base notes of rain-tipped damask and centifolia roses and patchouli.
