Do you ever get the overwhelming feeling when walking into the Beauty Section of a department store? I get that all the time, especially when everyone is suggesting you try EVERY scent so I was so excited when I heard about the SM Beauty Fragrance Festival! An intimate event to get to know the scents and sniff away! 🙂

Held in SM Aura, the SM Beauty Fragrance Festival had fun several pop up booths of fragrance brands available in the SM Beauty Section at the Main Atrium. It gave awareness because personally, I did not know they carried AMAZING brands which I thought weren’t locally available.

The SM Beauty Store, heeding to the industry-standard fragrance wheel, had sections solely devoted to each fragrance family. I had so much fun going around and learning about different fragrance families! Let me show you my favorites.
Versace Bright Crystal Absolu
If you are a feminine floral type of person, you’ll definitely like this one from Versace. Just by looking at the crystal packaging, you can already smell what you’re in for. Tessa Prieto-Valdes stayed a little bit longer checking this perfume out in the Versace booth – I think it’s one of her favorites!
Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio
They say one of the trends that is here to stay is: FRESH. In terms of make-up, style and who doesn’t love a fresh-smelling scent? This was actually one of my favorites – spraying it on smells like you just stepped out of the shower with a scent of the ocean. Try this out!! 🙂
Thierry Mugler Extraordinaire
They say you really need to try a scent and let it on you for at least a few hours before making a decision. Extraordinaire by Thierry Mugler sends of an aromatic woody scent. It’s not really for me but it smells great too!
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Yuzu
If you’re into succulent and fruity scents, you definitely need to check out the Green Tea Yuzu collection from Elizabeth Arden! It’s a range of calming, fruity and citrus-y scents. It brings nostalgia from your favorite trips in Asian countries! 🙂
Davidoff Cool Water
Imagine taking a dive late at night into a clear ocean – how would that smell like? Very fresh right? According to host Bianca Valerio, it’s very reminiscent of the smell of your high school crush but this time – he is now a man. Haha! I love this smell of Davidoff Cool Water Night Dive on my guy friends. So bangooo! 🙂
