Leather for the weather
My heart is still mourning for DLSU’s loss as I type this but we must move forward somehow, right? I guess today’s rainy weather was already a sign… a sign for me to wear leather.
Head-to-toe in F21
I never thought of leather (or similar material) will be ever appropriate to wear under Manila weather but I surprisingly found a piece that’s more of haute than hot. 😉

Recently, I went to the First x Forever relaunch of Forever 21 SM Megamall which you can read about here. The new hip design made it easier for me to navigate around the store and led me to these pieces! So today, I finally conclude that it’s okay to whip out your leather jackets and not melt at all. 🙂

I thought it would be really warm but I was wrong. This casual jacket from Forever 21 is light and is made of leatherette – a thinner kind of material. It has a lot of pocket compartments, too!

I am a sucker for choker-type gold necklaces. You’ll be in accessory-heaven for sure when you go to Forever 21! I like how this piece is so light and it comes with an extender so you can play with the necklace length.

I like how gold cuffs are so simple yet it makes a big statement when worn. Forever 21 has a lot of choices when it comes to cuffs and bangles – this is just one of them. So affordable, too!

I’ve been carrying this one everywhere! The sides can fold out if you put more things. I like its simplicity and when I want a pop of color, I wrap a bright scarf around it.

Daytime friendly
If you think a leather jacket during daytime is too much, you can always take it off and look more daytime friendly. You can never tell – sometimes its SO sunny then suddenly, it pours.
From glam to chill
I have a secret! I always carry a huge bag cos 1, it contains my SLR and 2, I always pack a pair of comfy shoes. To make it more casual, I paired this outfit with a pair of black Birks and wrapped the jacket around my waist. What do you think?
