In a scene wherein companies only seem to sell us items for the main purpose of earning profit, making us want items that we don’t really need and worse, making us buy things that aren’t worth our money – there are some things that give me hope: honest brands with honest people.

Honest to Goodness

I strongly believe in karma, saying what goes around comes around. Even if being honest should be the ONLY option for us, I somehow find it so heartwarming when people choose that path when they could’ve done otherwise.

So let me share with you 3 little experiences that GAVE me hope! 😉

Forever 21 ripped jeans & white heels

First, these heels in F21 gives me hope. Why? For the first time in a long time, I bought a pair of heels that are so durable AND affordable. The best part – they don’t hurt AT ALL! No blisters to wounds on my feet. I call these my Milo marathon heels! Lol!

Second, my newest purchase at Bayo gives me hope! You can see it in the photo above, it’s the oversize suede tote with the black leather details. One, it’s a durable tote with the affordable price tag and two, it’s actually REVERSIBLE. Genius!

Tigers and Chains

I actually have an interesting story to share about this bag. I spotted this cool piece during my last visit in Bayo Galleria. I rarely go to that mall so when I saw the bag, I immediately bought it. It was very affordable since the bag comes with a medium sized pouch bag, too!

Now, after buying the bag, I excitedly transferred my items in it, wanting to use it right away. So I did and bid the Bayo ladies goodbye. 30 minutues later, I randomly receive an E-MAIL from the DLSU Admin Office saying that I left my wallet in Bayo Galleria and the ladies put it aside from me. What a relief – I didn’t even notice I left my wallet!!!

Turns out, Ms Anne of Bayo Ortigas, noticed I left my wallet and immediately checked it for ID. She made the initiative to call-up the ONLY ID in my wallet, my old DLSU alumni card! So DLSU contacted me asap – I got my wallet back the same day. Your honesty gives me hope, Ms Anne! I wish everyone who will face a similar situation will have a kind heart like yours. More power to you and the BAYO team! 🙂

Thanks Vina for helping me take these photos! Even though there were a group of guys rudely interrupting us by their awkward whistles and stares. Hayy.. now, THAT doesn’t give me hope. Haha!
