When In Macau Known as the gambling capital of Asia or the “Oriental Las Vegas”, Macau is quick ride from Hong Kong and is definitely something to tick off your bucketlist. The weather is lovely and the chain of luxury hotels give lots of room for exploration!

Imagine a busy road – pedestrians rushing from left to right. On the third day of my Hong Kong trip, I finally figured out what to do to take a good pedestrian photo. It’s so simple you won’t believe it!

in my holiday uniform In a country wherein we have only 2 seasons, I get pretty jealous when the fall/winter collections come in after July. My favorite brands stock up all the layering pieces you can think of: scarves, coats, hats and wool socks but unfortunately, no cool weather here to wear it – unless it’s the holidays! Layering in Manila I have learned a little cheat sheet when it comes to layering in Manila. Let me know if you agree with me! Mango plaid dress | Zara boots | Forever 21 thigh highs I’ve always wanted to own thigh-high booties but that would obviously be too warm for our climate. Instead, I re-created that look and wore thigh-high cotton socks instead. Avoid material such as wool cos that’ll be too warm! Veloci Voyager Watch The synthetic material of the dress isn’t as warm as it looks. Plus, the length gives a lot of ventilation. Haha! To keep it simple, I paired this look with a Veloci classic Voyager watch. Check out Veloci on Facebook! Mango red purse Since the majority of the outfit is in blue/black, I paired a bright red purse from Mango for a pop of color.…

Reviving Manila Swagger Let’s get down to business. Nothing feels more corporate than a button down and pinstripe trousers. Gotta wear business attire for school soon? You might want to consider this stripe on stripe combo. Stripe on Stripe Well, this dressy ootd is inspired by a recent visit to a local yet modern barbershop – Felipe & Sons. It’s a must-visit if you’re in the Makati area! Yuki Tansengco To be honest, I woke up one morning and texted a guy friend, “Please bring over your pink striped button down – I need it for my outfit today!” Good thing he cooperated and brought it over. See? No harm in asking. 🙂 Topman Pink pinstripe top | Vintage trousers Print on print isn’t as scary as it sounds. The prints don’t have to be in the same color palette as the other fashionistas say – it can work too if it’s the same pattern like these stripes. Four Eyes PH “Charteux” frames I’m wearing a pair from Four Eyes PH! You should seriously consider it if you plan on buying glasses soon. This one is really sturdy plus it’s affordable, too! Hair by Blo Blow Dry Bar The holidays are coming up!…

Style war-ready Attention, soldier! Camo is making a camo-back (see what I did there?) this season and it should never have left! It’s one of the most coveted prints because of it’s neutral palette and this time, I discovered a new piece with this war-ready print. Yuki Tansengco Who says you can’t mix prints when wearing camo? Of course you can. Here are some tips to style your camo piece. American Apparel black romper Since camo is usually known as a masculine print, it’s OK to show off a little skin. I could’ve worn this parka with black jeans but that might appear too into the fatigue theme but then again, it depends on WHERE you’re headed to. Abby Jocson Shayne camo backpack | Php1450 I’ve been eyeing on this backpack ever since it was launched on the @abbyjocson Instagram and I’m GLAD I finally have it!! This bag features a zipper closure, inside pocket and only for Php1450. I love locally made goods – designed by my good friend, Abby, too! To order, check out Abby Jocson on Facebook. Forever 21 Olive green parka I’m into the fall/winter style pegs now even though it’s always summer in Manila. I…

Normcore I’ve been seeing the word “normcore” a lot lately and I learned that it’s a hybrid between “normal” and “hardcore” aka a lazy dressing. Haha! I guess I know have a word when asked to define my style? Sort of. Yuki Tansengco I’ve always been a lazy dresser but I still make it a point to look put-together and neat – it’s a tough balance! When it comes to events, heels will always be my last resort since I find (most of) them uncomfortable. Thrift shopper at heart I found these vintage coordinates in a garage sale pile. I like wandering around thinking: who owned these before? That’s the interesting (and slightly scary) part of 2nd hand shopping – your piece always has a story. Forever 21 gold cuff I have two theories: the lady who used to own this must’ve 1. worked in corporate under sales (possibly a fun brand) or 2. she could’ve been a teacher or guidance councilor. I figured the length is too short for conservative schools. Haha! Topshop black doctor bag To downplay the corporate vibe of the coordinates, I paired it with my favorite mandals and black bag. There is really nothing comfier…

Forever 21 opens in SM Southmall LA retail giant is getting bigger and bigger in Manila! All eyes (and wallets) went down South last week as F21 opened in SM Southmall. I mean really, who doesn’t want to be Forever 21? 😉 Nikita Conwi and Yuki Tansengco It’s like we did not get enough of Forever 21 during Philippine Fashion Week – who appeared on the PhFW catwalk for the first time in 3 years! After seeing their freshest looks and hottest Cali trends during PhFW, I was more excited to check out the newly opened SM Southmall branch as they launched their Holiday Collection! Hello, Forever 21 SM Southmall! Finally – Southern Belles now have access to the brand we love so much. Marrying affordability and style, Forever 21 always brings California back to Manila with its latest collections and strongest looks. in Mall of Asia I used to have the notion before that “Fashion Week” would be all about couture, high fashion and designer pieces. I’m glad I was able to break that notion this year and attend fast-fashion retailer shows such as F21 and Suite Blanco! Philippine Fashion Week 2014 This is what I wore to the only day I attended PhFW. I received invites for the F21, Suite Blanco, Sfera and Uno De 50 shows and I do not regret going one bit! 🙂 Yuki Tansengco My outfit is ready for a dainty tea-party! Guess where I got the dress? W.E. Garage blue polka-dot dress I’ve been so caught up with the blogging side of my life lately that I’ve sort of drifted from my main of interest – the business. So I need to focus for the holidays starting with this dress. It’s one of our prototypes – what do you think? SM Parisian brown heels | Abby Jocson tote Gone are the days when my interest was tight-fitting bodycon dresses. I find myself gravitating towards shapeless and loose-fitting pieces now. It’s all about comfort without sacrificing style! Forever 21 white blazer Before, I used to mind when…

White + Denim overalls kind of day Proudly wearing one of my classic ukay finds – these overalls. The perfect hybrid of comfortable jeans and a glamorous jumpsuit and it’s making a serious comeback. Glad it’s no longer associated to the look of farmers and toddlers, overalls have been given a chic makeover and I can’t wait to overwear this casual trend. Overlooked Overalls Been getting a number of positive comments lately on Instagram and the blog, like people noticing my hair color change. I’m beyond kilig but truly, there’s a glam team behind it who are the real superstars that shouldn’t be overlooked. Thrifted denim overalls | Forever 21 white strappy heels | Abby Jocson Erin Tote | W.E. Garage crop top You can never go wrong with the classic white with denim. I found this baby while I was thrifting somewhere in Manila and paired it with my favorite W.E. Garage crop top, an Erin tote from Abby Jocson and white heels! Sending warm hugs and kisses I really appreciate all the comments, likes, and favorites so I’d like to take this minute to say thank you! Thank you for always following my weirdness on the blog and…

Lazy Dressing 100 It all started yesterday when my sundo was already outside but I still couldn’t figure out what to wear. I guess it’s safe to say that time pressure breeds creativity and resourcefulness – I instantly came up with an outfit! Yuki Tansengco Got a lot of button down shirts laying around your room? Here’s how you can transform your shirt into a skirt! 🙂 Lazy Sunday For the first time, I tried out Kanto and Kool Kids in Kapitolyo to see what the fuss was about. Two thumbs up! I super love the food in Kanto – so yummy and very affordable. As for the Kool Kids ice cream, you should try it when you want to see something new. Haha! Zara grey shirt | Thrifted Holiday-themed buttondown | Birks To get this look, simply button up the shirt until where it meets the waist then knot the sleeves part down the middle. Make sure you tuck the collar part inside and the sleeves under the knot for a neat finish! Try it out and let me know what you think! 🙂 Vans hologram sunnies | Storm brown leather watch You can experiment with different buttondown textiles like…
