Afternoon high tea with Brit-inspired clothing label Chelsea Yuki and I attended the Chelsea launch last Tuesday at the Fairmont hotel and it was a celebration of both the brand and its designer, Kim Tugade. To add to the awesomeness, Benefit cosmetics was an event partner and showed off the perfect tools to match Chelsea’s style.

Red Charity Gala 2015 It’s true what they say – you can never be too poor nor too busy to give back. Through our own little (or huge) ways, there is always something we can do to reach out to the less fortunate. Tessa Prieto-Valdes and Kaye Tinga, the event’s organizers, know how to do it – in style! This year, they team up with none other than London-based Filipino designer – Lesley Mobo.

A Walk To Remember The world’s second largest eruption – right here on this volcano. Ever since Mt Pinatubo erupted in 1991, the used-to-be obscured mountain is now a popular tourist destination here in the Philippines. Last weekend, I visited this beautiful location filled with remnants of ash deposits and lahar – what an experience!

Reviving Manila Swagger Let’s get down to business. Nothing feels more corporate than a button down and pinstripe trousers. Gotta wear business attire for school soon? You might want to consider this stripe on stripe combo. Stripe on Stripe Well, this dressy ootd is inspired by a recent visit to a local yet modern barbershop – Felipe & Sons. It’s a must-visit if you’re in the Makati area! Yuki Tansengco To be honest, I woke up one morning and texted a guy friend, “Please bring over your pink striped button down – I need it for my outfit today!” Good thing he cooperated and brought it over. See? No harm in asking. 🙂 Topman Pink pinstripe top | Vintage trousers Print on print isn’t as scary as it sounds. The prints don’t have to be in the same color palette as the other fashionistas say – it can work too if it’s the same pattern like these stripes. Four Eyes PH “Charteux” frames I’m wearing a pair from Four Eyes PH! You should seriously consider it if you plan on buying glasses soon. This one is really sturdy plus it’s affordable, too! in Mall of Asia I used to have the notion before that “Fashion Week” would be all about couture, high fashion and designer pieces. I’m glad I was able to break that notion this year and attend fast-fashion retailer shows such as F21 and Suite Blanco! Philippine Fashion Week 2014 This is what I wore to the only day I attended PhFW. I received invites for the F21, Suite Blanco, Sfera and Uno De 50 shows and I do not regret going one bit! 🙂 Yuki Tansengco My outfit is ready for a dainty tea-party! Guess where I got the dress? W.E. Garage blue polka-dot dress I’ve been so caught up with the blogging side of my life lately that I’ve sort of drifted from my main of interest – the business. So I need to focus for the holidays starting with this dress. It’s one of our prototypes – what do you think? SM Parisian brown heels | Abby Jocson tote Gone are the days when my interest was tight-fitting bodycon dresses. I find myself gravitating towards shapeless and loose-fitting pieces now. It’s all about comfort without sacrificing style! Forever 21 white blazer Before, I used to mind when…

Vintage I’ve always been a fan of wearing knits but I’ve never found the right weather or timing to pull it out. One rainy afternoon, it was really cloudy so I dug up this dress that belonged to my mom and decided to pull off a modern Audrey Hepburn. What do you think? Knit game: Strong When wearing knits, I try to keep my accessories minimal to focus on the intricate details on the fabric. Yuki Tansengco Here are quick tips on how to pull off knits here in the Metro! Vintage knit navy blue dress | Topshop knit cardigan | Zara boots | Abby Jocson tote Knits obviously have the tendency to be warm so I make my outfit versatile by bringing a cardigan. Since the hemline of the dress is already short, I use it to wrap around my waist. I picked out a printed one to contrast the solid color of the dress. High Society I opted for a simple updo hairstyle so I picked “High Society” which is one of Blo’s 7 Signature Hairstyles. I love how you can tweak it from a slick bun to a messy tie knot like this. Vintage jewelry I have…

Hair by Blo If she did – the Queen would have probably frowned upon this #GOTootd. Haha! Too much Game of Thrones lately inspired me to try interesting braided hairstyles. What do you think of this one? Sansa Stark (hair only) For some reason, I am deeply drawn to Sansa’s hairstyles in the show! Waterfall braids, braid crowns, messy curls, etc. This will be the first of many Sansa-inspired hair! Yuki Tansengco Wait til you see the fishtail details! 🙂 Stradivarius blazer Due to bipolar weather, I know make sure I wear something that can be for hot afternoons or cold air-conditioned places. To quickly convert this outfit to being “cold friendly”, I brought a scarf! Wacoal black bandeau To be honest, I couldn’t decide what top to pair these breezy shorts with so I just threw on a cotton blazer! I love how this bandeau can disguise itself as a top – just throw on layered necklaces. More styles over at Wacoal’s Facebook page! Blo Blow Dry Bar | Up Do Ala Carte Major props to Mauie of Blo Mall of Asia for being game with my weirdness. “Mauie, please make my hair look like Sansa Stark’s of Game of…
