Yuki Tansengco To be honest, I sometimes get confused with the term “smart casual.” For some odd reason, it doesn’t translate the same way everytime I see it on the invite so does that mean we should play by ear? Monday Blues In my workspace, we are allowed to wear “smart casual” and whatever makes us feel comfortable at work – staying within the “corporate attire” guidelines. Always sticking to blues and blacks. Dress Code 101 So really, what is the difference between casual and smart casual? Yuki Tansengco Earlier this week, I gave a talk on the appropriate styles for each body type to a group of women and that’s when I realized: I fall under the “rectangle” body type. So I’d like to dedicate this post on styles to accentuate and compliment our almost non-existing curves.  Rags 2 Riches “Buslo” bag I believe it’s all about proportion and balance. Forget the fashion rules on “layering” to add curves, etc. I want you to embrace your body type and even if you’re a “rectangle”, you can still wear fitted clothing!  Freego Jeans In my younger years, I used to hate wearing fitted clothes such as jeans and leggings. I thought it made me look thinner and highlight my stick figure but I’m so happy to have found a denim brand that tailors jeans so well!
