A Newly Discovered Place To Wine and Dine in BGC
Ever since, I usually decline alcohol (when offered) only because I wasn’t fond of how it tasted. The declined drinks range from shots (especially), cocktails (so-so) and (ha – I’ve been missing out) wine. Delicious wine I’ve been missing out on. So when I heard about “Wine Night” happening over at Restaurant 101 to launch their newest menu – I was quite excited about it. Food and wine? Yes please.

At first, I was unfamiliar with the location. I knew the venue was inside Enderun College but I wasn’t sure where exactly in the school to go. Turns out – Restaurant 101 is inside the building right by the main driveway. You wont miss it! We arrived a bit earlier so we wandered around the pretty campus.

For my outfit, I picked out this top during the launch of the SM x Aimee Song collaboration. I love the latest collection in SM Woman now and quite frankly, it’s safe to say they’ve tremendously grown over the years in terms of style selections. This top feels like the first of many SM Woman and GTW by SM pieces to be owned.

Wine Night at Restaurant 101
To launch Restaurant 101’s newly curated menu, we spent a lovely evening sipping on exquisite wine and mouth-watering dishes prepared by Enderun’s very own Chef Thomas and Chef Justin. Rhea and I were joined by Enderun’s marketing arm Mika Lopez and Sab Daez. We were all set for a fun night of laughter and happy tummies.
Restaurant 101 in Enderun Colleges, Mckinley Hill Taguig
Upon entering, you’ll be charmed by the restaurant’s stylish interiors that exudes pure elegance and class. Don’t forget, they have a (very reasonable) dress code for the place: No sandos (for the men) and flip-flops please! 🙂 I was amazed by the student wait staff attending to us with warm hospitality. Restaurant 101 at Enderun Colleges is open from Monday to Saturday; from 11:30am to 2pm for lunch, and from 6 to 10pm for dinner.

Let the degustation begin! Each meal served was paired with a hearty glass of wine. I was told that when it comes to eating fish, one must partner it with something sweet like Rosee. Aside from filling our tummies, I also learned new things!

Cheers! I also learned that red wine is usually paired with meat to compliment its richness. At Restaurant 101, you’ll enjoy monthly wine tasting dinners and affordable daily lunch specials. If you have an event coming up, it can also accommodate private parties and large-scale banquets, in two salon prives and a magnificent, high-ceilinged 240 square meter atrium.
Roasted beef short rib
I honestly died a little bit when I sunk my teeth into the tenderness of this beef short rib. SO GOOD! For Php1980 per person, you get to enjoy all these! Here is the full menu paired with wine:
My favorite (which disappeared quickly, of course) was the Soy Milk Creme Brulee!

It was so sweet of them to extend this lovely tray of cheese and pine nuts.

Here’s to staying passionate and falling in-love… with our ideas. Wine Night at Restaurant 101 was truly a wonderful experience and I actually feel hungry while writing this post. I highly recommend it if you’re planning your next girl’s night out or date. 😉
