One Shoe, Multiple Outfits
The weather lately has been extremely unpredictable and the last thing I want is to wear the wrong shoes and potentially get drenched. How do we plan which pair to wear without knowing the forecast? Easy. Get a stylish pair that can also brave Manila rains. Introducing Faux Pas Paris – a shoe brand made from eco-friendly PVC material that you can DIY (Design It Yourself!)
Faux Pas shoes charm Manila!
Standing 5’7 and a half, I’ve always been a flats kind of girl. I’ve tried all materials – leather, suede, etc. Nothing is more convenient than wearing a shoe made of PVC. Why? Because 1. It always retains it form no matter how you store it and 2. It is easy to clean and you don’t have to worry getting dirt on it. What makes Faux Pas extra awesome is that you get to design the embellishments yourself – making it wearable in so many different ways.
Faux Pas Craft To Charm event
Only July 7 in Le Petite Souffle, we were given the opportunity to meet the brilliant mind behind Faux Pas, Philippe Millieret. I love how he mentioned that some people today get too focused on the branding of products (i.e. wearing big logo pieces) when it’s actually more fun to get creative and DIY (Design It Yourself). Watch the video above to see the highlights of our crafty afternoon!
Faux Pas Vendome in Blush
I brought along with me my best friend Nicole Ty and gave her the liberty to design my “Jams” – the shoe accent that can be interchangeable. Initially, I found it a bit bizarre why she was painting my Jams with mint green when the shoe is blush. After she finished, I ended up loving how it mixed and I even wore it right away! See what happens when you get creative? The choices are endless.
Faux Pas shoes
So imagine a pair of shoes that you can continuously recreate and design – now THAT is value for money. With Faux Pas shoes, you can choose from a range of colors and styles. I found the pair quite comfortable – maybe because it’s made from eco-friendly PVC material. I love how the unique Jams concept gives customers the freedom to customize their Faux Pas pair to create different looks. I’m already thinking of my next Jams design!
