Create Your Butterfly Look with L’Oreal Paris
I’ve always been fascinated by butterflies. The vivid colors on their wings, their grace when flapping from one plant to another. Just like butterflies, we all find ways to transform ourselves – we just need to figure out how to step out of our comfort zones 🙂
Live Free, Like A Butterfly
I can proudly say I’ve found little ways to step out of my comfort zone this year. I became open to coloring my hair, testing different styles and experimenting with make-up! My inner tomboy resented those when I was younger but now, I am game!

So in line with my beauty adventure, check out how I created this look with 3 simple products. Enjoy!
Le Papillon Eye Look
Le Papillon, translated as The Butterfly, is a simple make-up look at that involves pretty, fluttery eye lashes. How to achieve it? Simple! And before you speculate, this look didn’t involve falsies 😉
False Lash Butterfly Mascara
I’m glad I discovered this mascara from L’Oreal Paris! I’ve tried out different mascaras from local and global brands but this one sets the bar high.
Les Ombres Eye Palette
Smokey eyes during daylight? Why not! I achieved this look by using L’Oreal’s Les Ombres 4 color eye palette. It comes with an applicator brush and super easy to use! Apply the lighter color on the eye lids and contour with the darker one.
Super Liner Gelmatic Pen
After applying the eye shadow, we used the Super Liner pen on the top and bottom lashline. The color is really CHARCOAL black and it doesn’t smudge. That’s why it’s so super! 😀
L’Oreal Paris
From left to right: Les Ombres Eye Palette, Super Liner Gelmatic Pen and False Lush Butterfly Mascara. You can get these products in all leading drugstores nationwide! 🙂
False Lash Butterfly Mascara
Lastly, we used the butterfly mascara! I was surprised how my lashes evidently got longer. The product is buildable and for this look, we used around 2-3 coats of mascara. I look like I’m wearing falsies! 🙂
Re-create the Le Papillon Eye Look
Check out this video to see the look I tried to re-create! You can hardly tell the difference of the eye with falsies and the one with only mascara 🙂

Thank you Roy for helping me achieve this look! 🙂 Mother Marie Eugenie once said, “Do not clip their wings but rather redirect their flight.”
