Ford EcoSport Style Challenge Growing up, my mom would always take us to visit my grand parents who lived in Sampaloc, Manila. As a treat, we would take a jeepney to Quiapo or Divisoria on weekends and that’s where the magic began. Divisoria is one of my most favorite places to shop! Aside from it being known to have very cheap finds, their pieces are also surprisingly up to date with what you currently see in retail stores. So when I was tapped by Ford Philippines to do a “Style Challenge” in Divisoria – I was like BRING IT.

My Top 5 Ukay-Ukay Tips For A Successful Thrifting Adventure When I was in college (Animo La Salle!), I remember religiously spending my lunch breaks wandering around thrift stores along Taft Avenue. I had a knack for buying pre-loved clothing and even my neighbors’ clothes through garage sales. Maybe because as a student, it was the most cost-effective way to keep up with fashion and I liked wearing unique pieces. So when I was received a message from entertainment journalist Marie Lozano to do a “Celebrity Look For Less” – I said, “GAME!” 🙂

Ed Hardy officially breaks ground in the PH When you say “Ed Hardy”, it immediately rings a bell for a global brand that is edgy and one who stands out. Last October 14, Ed Hardy turned heads as they made their very FIRST public appearance during Zalora’s Fashion Night Out held in the BGC Amphitheater. As the models strut down the catwalk in their Ed Hardy-ensembles, you immediately see that it’s all about self-expression. Check out their newest pieces!

Singapore: An Enchanting Island City Have you ever been to a place that your experience was not so good so you had zero plans of going back? Honestly, that is how I felt during my first trip to Singapore. I went for a college field trip to “analyze and create a retail plan” by observing different malls and I don’t remember it being very memorable aside from dreading to draft a good school paper when I got back. Now, visiting the second time around makes me think otherwise. Here are my favorite, MUST-VISIT locations in Singapore. Enjoy! 🙂

It’s About Time I truly believe that accessories play a big role in ones outfit. May it be a bracelet, necklace – or a timeless looking watch. I love collecting timepieces and most of the classic designs I own come from TIMEX. If you love this brand as much as I do, you’re in luck because TIMEX just launched their first ever concept store and new designs!

I never thought a movie could move me so much that here I am crafting a blog post about it and it’s almost midnight. We have seen a lot of great movies (most, international, I’m pretty sure) but not all will leave you applauding right after the movie and better yet – call you to action. That’s exactly what happened after I watched “Heneral Luna” by Jerrold Tarog.

Sometimes, I get drawn to bright or pastel colors but at the end of the day, I always find myself drawn back to my first love: Neutrals. Here’s to kickin’ it with the khaki!

Daily uniform It might have been that Britney Spears video circa the 90’s which made school uniforms look so cool – I’m one of the girls who never moved on.
