When in Sagada I kid you not when I tell you – Sagada is full of surprises and you will LOVE it! Before this trip, the first and only time I’ve been to Sagada was when I was 7 years old. My only memory was it was an extremely long drive and the rice wasn’t white. Now, I still stand by my initial sentiments but this second trip came with many discoveries. When I Fall In Love – With Nature I am no city girl – as a kid, we spent a fair number of weekends in our provincial house in Nueva Ecija so lush greeneries and mountain views aren’t new to me but exploring Sagada made me love nature even more because view was so serene with so much life! It was beautiful. What To Do In Sagada If you are planning to make a trip up and expecting you will just “chill” because there might be “nothing to do”, think again! With this trip, I learned that there are so many things to try in Sagada so let me share with you my 3-day Catventure! Suite Blanco Parka | Anchor Co. backpack Let the adventure begin! One thing you have…

in Baler, Aurora Living in the Philippines come with many travel perks. We have 7107 islands to take advantage of – but how do we go about it if it’s our first time? I’ve always wanted to go to Baler. Out of impulse – it finally pushed through and here are my tips for the first timers out there! Aliya Surf Camp | Something Borrowed white mesh dress First, always make lodging bookings ahead of time. Even if this trip was last minute, my friend and I immediately researched and made lodging arrangements. Good thing we did because when we got there, almost all the hostels were fully booked and it wasn’t even peak season. in Sabang Beach, Baler Of course When In Baler, you must try out surfing! BEFORE you react how difficult it looks and you’ve never tried, it is actually do-able for everyone. I, personally, do not know how to swim but with surf instructors in area, you can get a 1 hour lesson and a board rental for only Php350! Bay’s Inn Third, see your other options just incase you think of making a second trip. I’m already eyeing on Bay’s Inn and Costa Pacifica on…

Heaven scent! Do you ever get the overwhelming feeling when walking into the Beauty Section of a department store? I get that all the time, especially when everyone is suggesting you try EVERY scent so I was so excited when I heard about the SM Beauty Fragrance Festival! An intimate event to get to know the scents and sniff away! 🙂 with Beauty Blogger Shari of The Misty Mom Held in SM Aura, the SM Beauty Fragrance Festival had fun several pop up booths of fragrance brands available in the SM Beauty Section at the Main Atrium. It gave awareness because personally, I did not know they carried AMAZING brands which I thought weren’t locally available. SM Fragrance Festival The SM Beauty Store, heeding to the industry-standard fragrance wheel, had sections solely devoted to each fragrance family. I had so much fun going around and learning about different fragrance families! Let me show you my favorites. Versace Bright Crystal Absolu If you are a feminine floral type of person, you’ll definitely like this one from Versace. Just by looking at the crystal packaging, you can already smell what you’re in for. Tessa Prieto-Valdes stayed a little bit longer checking this perfume…

Fancy some wine? I just recently came across a book entitled “Who Moved My Cheese?” It’s a must-read book for EVERYONE on how to deal with change and perspective towards new things. Most of the time, change and new discoveries are good! We have to embrace it – just like this new restaurant in Kapitolyo! East Capitol Drive, Kapitolyo When Kapitolyo comes to mind, one thing sticks to our mind, “It’ll definitely be one hell of a food trip!” We immediately think of affordable eating and drinking places perfect for you and your buds but what if you’re looking for something more.. quaint? Perhaps, a chill wine date night? This fusion of European-Chinese cuisine is the perfect place – without the expensive prices. Modern European meets Chinese cuisine! From the French inspired interior to an impressionable world-class open kitchen, it truly adds a new exciting dining destination for both dim sum and pasta lovers giving an east meets west feel. French-inspired interior I love how this restaurant is completely Instagram-able (you know what I mean!) It’s a perfect lunch or merienda place as the sun peeps through it’s glass windows. The whole restaurant is so pretty! Cosy ambience Upon arriving,…

Shape up or ship out This is it, page 1 of 365 once again and everyone’s excited to craft their own little list of resolutions to ring in the new year. Unfortunately, only around 10% of the list is kept throughout the entire year – maybe even less. So let’s keep it simple, shall we? 5 Resolutions for career in 2015 Personally, I listed a longer one but I realized if we keep it short, we have less to remember and a bigger chance of focusing on each one. Like most things in life, these are just suggestions I’m offering so feel free to agree or disagree with me. Which ones made the list? Hello, 2015! No matter how contented we are with our career and other aspects, it doesn’t hurt to find a little room for improvement. So before crafting your list, ask yourself, “What would I like to do differently this year?” I’m sharing with you mine! 🙂 SM Accessories taupe floppy | Daniel Wellington watch 1. Get up, dress up and show up I’m not saying you should look catwalk-ready on the most casual days but dressing up appropriately helps you play that dream role you’re working hard for.…

Holiday relaxation While everyone is out of town or in the province for the holidays, I’m staying in the city. With the new year coming in, I’m taking this as an opportunity to relax, detox my body and de-clutter my space to make room for 2015 so I badly wanted a quick vacation somewhere near the Metro. in Nurture Wellness Village Through Travehood PH, I discovered Nurture Wellness Village! Located in Tagaytay, this hidden gem known for their spa services was a quick drive down to the South and when I arrived, I realized, “The drive is so worth it.” Welcome drinks | Pandan Tea Upon my arrival, the staff warmly greeted me as I nestled in the receiving area. I arrived around 1pm and with the cool Tagaytay weather, you wouldn’t mind popping in any time of the day. Muse by Gianne halter top | Crow PH white culottes | Yay Designs cover up I made sure to dress comfortably and I couldn’t have chosen a better cover up than this piece from Yay Designs. The white bolero converts into so many things so watch out for it in my next post. These white culottes from Crow can be…

in my holiday uniform In a country wherein we have only 2 seasons, I get pretty jealous when the fall/winter collections come in after July. My favorite brands stock up all the layering pieces you can think of: scarves, coats, hats and wool socks but unfortunately, no cool weather here to wear it – unless it’s the holidays! Layering in Manila I have learned a little cheat sheet when it comes to layering in Manila. Let me know if you agree with me! Mango plaid dress | Zara boots | Forever 21 thigh highs I’ve always wanted to own thigh-high booties but that would obviously be too warm for our climate. Instead, I re-created that look and wore thigh-high cotton socks instead. Avoid material such as wool cos that’ll be too warm! Veloci Voyager Watch The synthetic material of the dress isn’t as warm as it looks. Plus, the length gives a lot of ventilation. Haha! To keep it simple, I paired this look with a Veloci classic Voyager watch. Check out Veloci on Facebook! Mango red purse Since the majority of the outfit is in blue/black, I paired a bright red purse from Mango for a pop of color.…

Lacoste 12.12 Media Launch There is nothing more precious than giving someone the gift of time – I mean it figuratively but giving a classic watch won’t hurt too. A timely launch was held on December 12 as Lacoste’s sporting spirit is reignited in the Lacoste.12.12 watch collection. It was held by country distributor Artful Marketing, Inc. (a subsidiary of the Lucerne Group) and global licensee Movado Group, Inc. You’ll love it! Lacoste 12.12 Watch Collection Simple, wearable and elegant are the top 3 words to be describe this collection. Six confident colors make up the Lacoste.12.12 watch design palette: grey, red, blue, white, green and black. I love how the design looks so laidback and not screaming out for too much branding. It’s a masculine and powerful timepiece yet understated and relaxed. Whatever color you choose, it’ll be suitable for work and play. Tennis Wii tournament at the Lacoste 12.12 Launch I honestly didn’t plan the outfit but it was the perfect match for the Tennis Wii tournament during the launch! Super fun! Lots came in their classic cotton petit pique poloshirt that tennis legend René Lacoste designed in 1927. “Much like the classic polo shirt it is named after, the…
